Saint Patrick’s Day “Shamrock Parade” and “Go Green in Midway”

Join all of the Midway Shops 10am to closing, and Restaurants from 11am to closing as we celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day for one and all! 
 Parade Time - 3:00

“Go Green” in Midway! Midway Renaissance, Midway Community Garden, and Walter Bradley Park are showing off the “Green” with Evolve Electric Cars, Recycling, Solar Energy, Community Garden, and Walter Bradley Park information booths.

The Celebrations kick off at 10am with all of the Downtown Shops and sidewalk craft vendors promoting Specials. There will be a Pot of Gold Children’s Activity and the Streets decorated with Shamrocks. The Shamrock Parade at 3pm will be led by Grand Marshall John Marsden, followed by Midway University Students, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Mayor Grayson Vandergrift, Musicians, Decorated Bicycles, Wagons, Skateboards, Pets, Midway University Horses & riders, and the Midway Fire Department Fire truck. The World’s Tallest Leprechauns will also walk in the parade and then walk around tying balloons, etc. from 3-5pm.

The Five Midway Restaurants will be holding a “Shamrock Ramble”. Each restaurant will have a beverage, appetizer, and meal special. Start your Shamrock Ramble fun by getting your Free Shamrock Ramble ticket at any of the five restaurants. Enjoy any beverage, appetizer, or meal at each of the five restaurants, getting your ticket stamped at each. Leave your ticket at the fifth restaurant to be entered into a drawing to win one of the five great prizes donated by the restaurants.
